SH 146 UTILITY ENGINEERING, ADJUSTMENTS & COORDINATION

Gradient Group, LLC was selected by the TxDOT Houston District to conduct Utility Engineering and Coordination for the reconstruction of SH 146 between FM 518 and FM 517 (CSJ 0389-06-088). The proposed roadway reconstruction included the widening of SH 146 from a 4-lane to a 6-lane divided highway for 5.13 miles including the SH 96 overpass. The ROW width expanded from 100’ to 250’ with non-reimbursable utilities unless the utility had property interest. Gradient was responsible for developing the Utility Conflict List, requesting records and relocating all wet utilities in the project. Gradient was responsible for all coordination efforts with Bayview MUD, Gulf Coast Water Authority, League City, Texas City, WCID 12 as well as other wet utilities in the area.
