CAD Technician

We are seeking a CAD Technician with 0 – 5 years of relevant experience who is interested in quickly contributing and thriving in a fast-paced, positive, mutually supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project team to understand design requirements.
- Utilize CAD software to create and modify drawings, plans, and schematics.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Conduct quality checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of work.
- Assist in the preparation of project documents and reports.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to address any design issues or modifications.
- Stay up to date with the latest CAD software tools and industry best practices.
- Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliver quality work.
- Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD processes and workflows.
- Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a CAD Tech or Certification in Computer-Aided Design leu of experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to address design challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within project teams.
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to be a team player and help wherever is needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certification in Computer-Aided Design or related field.
- Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information System) software.
- Experience with 3D modeling and visualization software.
- Civil 3D and/or MicroStation experience.
- Understanding of civil engineering concepts and terminology.
