GRANT ROAD WIDENING – SEGMENT 2

Gradient Group, LLC was selected by Harris County Pct. 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle as the prime consultant for widening 1.4 miles of Grant Road from a 2-lane open ditch roadway to a 4-lane boulevard section between Spring-Cypress and Shaw Road in northwest Harris County. Gradient was also responsible for project management, preliminary engineering / study phase, roadway design, drainage & detention study and drainage (storm-sewer) design and traffic engineering associated with the roadway design. Gradient was also responsible for the ADA sidewalk design paid for by Harris County in front of the Black Elementary School as well as the additional ADA sidewalks paid for by MUD 5. The project also included 3 traffic signal warrant studies and the design of 2 traffic signals in addition to surveying, geotechnical services and environmental engineering.
