WOODFOREST BLVD PEDESTRIAN FACILITY DESIGN

Gradient Group, LLC was selected by Harris County Precinct 2 to perform professional engineering and other associated services for the preparation of plans, specifications, and construction documents for the construction of the new pedestrian facility (sidewalk) design. We saved the County time and money, generally spent on surveying, by developing construction documents from Google Earth to construct approximately 8,500 linear feet of concrete sidewalk along Woodforest Boulevard from Redstone Street to Sheldon Road. The design included the installation of 6” to 18” turn down curb due to large elevation differences, adjustment of existing manholes and water valves, and the pedestrian signal modifications.
