FOREST GREEN TOWNHOME COMPLEX REHABILITATION

Gradient Group, LLC  was selected by the Houston Housing Authority (HHA) to lead the Civil / Site Engineering for the rehabilitation of Forest Green Townhomes Complex. Gradient has performed a preliminary drainage investigation of the Forest Green Townhomes at 8945 Forest Hollow Drive. The mitigation plan goes over remediation of flood events while keeping the existing development that consisted of building a wall around the entirety of the site and constructing offsite detention. HHA requested Gradient to identify flood mitigation requirements related to the redevelopment and to keep detention on-site via demolishing the existing development. Gradient’s preliminary drainage investigation was done in consideration of what would provide the best long-term housing outcome for residents as well as HHA and the City of Houston.
