Gradient Group is a growing civil engineering firm providing innovative design solutions to both public and private sector clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Designer with strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D to support our engineering team on a variety of land development and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about creating high-quality design drawings that bring engineering concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed civil site plans, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Develop construction documents, plan and profile sheets, and other project deliverables in coordination with project engineers.
- Assist with redline revisions and design updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, applicable codes, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to maintain project schedules and deliverables.
- Organize and maintain CAD files, templates, and project documentation.
- Support quality control processes by reviewing and checking drawings for accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in civil site design or land development projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required.
- Working knowledge of site grading, utilities, storm drainage, and roadway design.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
