PRECINCT PEDESTRIAN FACILITY & TRAIL PROGRAM

Gradient Group, LLC was selected to develop a comprehensive plan for sidewalk and trail improvements throughout Harris County Precinct 4. The Precinct 4 Pedestrian Facility & Trail Program focused on identifying and prioritizing improvements into short-, mid-, and long-term phases, with approximately $20 million in construction costs identified for short-term projects. The scope included project management, stakeholder coordination, site surveys, utility assessments, community engagement, and progress reporting, as well as establishing the design and construction process for prioritized short-term projects. The program’s overall goal was to enhance pedestrian connectivity, accessibility, and safety throughout the precinct.
