Humble ISD Locker

Renovations

KINGWOOD, TEXAS

Campus expansion. Temporary detention relocation. Stormwater

reworked to support phased growth.

THE PROJECT.

As part of the Creekwood Middle School expansion, Humble ISD engages the design team to reconfigure stormwater infrastructure to accommodate additional locker room renovations and new long jump and high jump
areas.

To make room for the expanded program, the proposed detention and storm sewer layout is relocated and redesigned. The solution includes a temporary detention strategy that functions until future campus improvements — including additional gym, dance, and band buildings and
a new play pad — are constructed with a fully expanded detention pond. The phased approach allows construction to move forward now while preserving long-term drainage performance as the campus continues to grow.
